So who am I?

I've started this blog after finding loads of other great blogs about using coupons and saving money in today's economy.  So why start another one? Well I don't expect that this blog will get a huge following but it will allow me to track where our money goes and hold myself accountable on our quest towards a house and a dog.

About that title...Yes the goal here is a house and a dog. And yes we both want BOTH of them but the title sounds much quippier the way I phrased it.

So who are we? I live with my lovely boyfriend Robert in the suburbs of philadelphia. I work a retail job and he works as a video editor. We make a decent living but when saving for these huge purchases ever little bit helps! My background is theater and I'm planning on going back to graduate school to study History soon so we're about as typical broke 20-somethings as you can get. We have two adorable chinchillas names Momo and Roku, we love movies, reading and avoiding laundry.
